I think that Lauren's and Matthew's was the best piece of writing. This is because they have all the Ao's in it and they have explained every detail of it. They explained a couple of points in two different ways which is good because it gives a more detailed view of the poem.
I think that the most detailed and explanatory piece of writing was by Lauren and Matthew. They pulled apart two different quotes and explained clearly how each of these affects the reader and puts across Tennersons point of view. The descriptions of both quotes used encluded most, if not all, of the AO's and for the second quote, they displayed two different inerpretations of one line in the poem. They also managed to explain that the way the line is interpreted depends quite a lot on the reader. Well done :)
Personally, I think that the best piece of writing is Lauren and Matthew's piece. This is because it meets all of the AO's with lots of detail and explanation. They also gave two alternative quotes to support their point and clearly explained the different views and interpretations that may occour to the reader. They also used complex and sophisticated vocabulary which increases the standard of the piece of work raising it to a higher level. As well as explaining the interpretations of the reader, they also clearly explained the views of which Tennyson portrays.

They used a wide range of volcabulary, and pointed out two points to make it a even stronger case.
I think that Lauren and Matthew’s piece of writing is the best as it had a very good range of vocabulary and was very easy to understand. Also it explains their chosen quote extremely well with many suggestions on what the Tennyson is implying. It answers all of the targets set and it gives two opposite interpretations of why the Poet wrote the poem and how he feels about war and killing people.

In my opinion, Lauren and Matthew's piece seemed the best to me. It was very detailed, had a good explanation and they used a wide vocabulary meeting most of the AO's. Matthew and Laruen showed to the reader what might occur, and they have provided a good quality, high level piece of work.
I have come to the conclusion that Amber and Aimee's paragraph is the most informative and fits closest to the criteria for success in poetry analysis, therefore it is the one which I believe is the best. The first reason behind my conclusion is that through this well structured paragraph Amber and Aimee have used a wide and varied vocabulary. This demonstrate intellect and intelligence by showing that they have a strong understanding of how to use complexed and imaginative language in the correct manner. It is also one of the key targets that must be met when aiming for the higher levels in En2 and En3 (Reading and writing skills). Another reason why I believe that this paragraph is the best it because they demonstrate the required ability to analyse individual words and phrases. The phrase they chose to analyse was relevant directly to the question in mind and clearly proves and links back to their point, supporting it's complex and therefore advanced nature. Yet another reason why I believe this is the best paragraph is because they have related their insights to the context of the poem. They shows a significant amount of correct historical knowledge as well as making is clear that they have taken all into account when coming to their conclusion.
In my opinion, Aimee and Amber's piece is the best. This is because they added lots of detail to their paragraph and talked about the poem when it was written just after the battle. It alos meets most of the AO's.

I think Chloe's and Jenni's was the best answer, because it explained in detail the trials of war, but still touched on the subject of glory and fighting for your country. Their explanation of the quote was straight to the point and explained it well.
